This simply gorgeous bookplate dating back to 1880 would be equally at home in either a contemporary or period interior. It would make a beautiful, unique gift for a nursery or playroom. It has the 'Alphabet in Rhyme - Of the Counties of England and Wales' and part of the tale of 'The Little Girl who could talk for the Dogs' printed on the reverse.
There is some discolouration and light creasing commensurate with the age of this piece however this only adds to its timeless appeal. There is a small tear on the right border however once framed this will be barely visible and is all part of the history of this delightful piece.
